lamps that are different, buffet style you don't find in an ordinary home, one so unique that u may have seen it only one time in ur lile to sit in a foyer on a very special piece, also looking for antique picture frames to go on this particular piece wth the lamp.

I want to restore it but afraid I will take away the value of the lamps I have two of them which are a matching set. Still have the original electrical cords which need fixing. Should I remove the tarnish or leave it alone?

I just bought a new small buffet lamp that warns to not use a light bulb above 25 watts. My question is: is it safe to use one of the new energy saving lights that produces 60 watts of light on 13 watts of power?
