The peices all looked like a flower. the chair had the middle of the flower to sit on with pink petals hanging off i believe with green leaves as well, and brown branch-like legs. The table & lamp were also the same flowery theme with (for the lamp) looked like a desk lamp & the bulb being the "bulb" of a flower. the table (or ottoman) was pink on the top with green leaf-like petals, and brown branch-like legs as well. i know the box that it came in was yellow, with a young girl dressed in a fairy costume sitting in the chair with the lamp & table/ottoman next to her. I would really love this for my daughter, but i need the name/brand so i can order it online as wal-mart discontinued the item. Thanks

I'm trying to coordinate my bedroom and my "inspiration pieces" are my lamp set. They're brown/bronze and have suede tan shades on them. I want my bedroom to be a sophisticated retreat that my boyfriend (as it is his room, too) and I can enjoy and relax in together. I have a cream/sage flower bedspread that is nice and matches, but it simply doesn't go with the lamps I'd really like some suggestions from people who are more decorating-inclined than I am. Our room is approximately a 10' to 12' square. We also have a queen sized bed that takes up a good chunk of the room. Any ideas? Also worth noting: We have three cats and a pit bull/boxer mix that the fabrics have to be able to stand up to. We have a snake whose cage stays in our room, approximately 4' wide by 3' deep by 4' high. I'd have to clear any painting with my landlord. We had gone over that subject a little bit a while back and she mentioned wanting to approve the color first, then see the finished product for further approval. (Since it's her place, I can't really argue with that...)

First, let me provide some pictures of the lamp I found online: http://www.gsr.jp/analogue/data/goods/EZ-0580.htm My friend gave me this lamp before he graduated from my college, and even though I asked him how to set it up on FB, he hasn't replied to me for a long while. I have NO idea how the hell to set this lamp up. It comes with that L-shaped bar, plastic shoe, nut and a base. In the base that the lamp is inserted into there is a flat rectangular platform base, in which the apparatus I mentioned goes into (the metal bar sticks in the medium-sized hole down there) and then there's a cube on top of it with two large holes horizontal on the x-plane and one large hole vertical on the y-plane that the metal rod from the lamp sticks into. The lamp is too heavy to stand with the base at the bottom alone, since it's far too small to handle such a big lamp. That's about as vivid of a description as I can give. I really would appreciate it if someone could help me out by instructing me as to how I can set this stupid friggin' lamp up. Thanks!

I am looking for a specific table lamp (i'm hoping I can locate it on ebay). It comes from JcPenney and I believe it first came out in 2008. It was featured in the catalog under the section for the Cleo bedding set. This set (for easy identification) is a black comforter with jacobean-inspired floral stitching. The accent colors were burgundy, gold, and green. The lamp appears to have gold on the base and the very top while the center portion is black with a silver leaf/fern design wrapping around it. The shade is a simple solid white. I seem to remember the name being at the bottom of the page in small print. I think it simply gave the name and page number. I have the bed set, which I love, but feel that the lamp that they showed with it would be very complimentary. It was no longer available by the time I placed my order and I have since lost my copy of the catalog. So, I'm hoping someone on here has yet to toss out their old JcPenney 2008 catalog and maybe look it up to find who designed it (I want to say it was Chris Madden, but I'm not sure . . .) and the name? I would really appretiate it. Oh! and if the name is given for the scrolled bench or side table, which I don't think it is and may have not even been made by JcPenney, are on that page that would be great to know, too. I believe it was the Spring/Summer edition. I know that was the time I ordered it because I was just moving to the town where I was going to college. I seem to remember that it was a new item that they were featuring.

This has been bugging me. I have a table lamp that has four separate goosenecks, which means it has four bulbs. It can be turned on so that: 1) Only 1 bulb is on. 2) 2 bulbs are on. 3) 3 bulbs are on. 4) All 4 bulbs are on. I thought I was saving energy if I only used the 1-bulb setting, but someone told me that the lamp will use the same amount no matter what setting it's on. That doesn't sound right....

i was just wondering if my standard table lamp can be used in the 3 different setting mode just by using a 3 way light bulb? or are the 3 way light bulbs only for touch lamps? ..before i got out of my way to purchase the darn thing...

...over? I have several cats who race around the house sometimes, chasing each other. Several times they have managed to knock over one of the end table lamps. No damage to the lamps (so far), but we have had a few broken light bulbs. The end tables are wooden. I was wondering if there is something like the "sticky pad" (it sits on your car dash, and you can set your cell phone there and it won't fall off) for lamps or other table objects? I considered Velcro, but think that the adhesive holding the strip in place would damage the wood. I did look at Lowe's today, in the child-proofing section, thinking they might have something to prevent a child from pulling a lamp down on himself, but I didn't see anything that would work.
